July 3 was day 46 of the Olympic Torch Relay and the torch spent its last day in Leicester, starting out on a Jet pack at the space centre before heading down Abbey Park Road and Belgrave Road before leaving the city from Leicester North train station on a steam train on its way to Quorn.
Football presenter and former Leicester City and England player Gary Linker who grew up in Leicester was one of the torch bearers.
