Different Faith and Community Groups Come Together to Break Fast at Ramadan

Around 200 people from many different faiths came together on Friday evening for an Iftar event at Central Mosque in Leicester.

 

The Iftar, which is the evening meal in which Muslims who have been fasting during the day at Ramadan end their daily fast at sunset.

 

 

The Iftar also remembered the Srebrenica genocide in which over 8000 Bosnian Muslimis were killed.
