Pukaar News caught up with singer, composer and musician, Salim Merchant, who forms one half of Salim – Sulaiman, with older brother Sulaiman.
The brothers are set to perform in the UK on August 3rd at Leicester’s De Montfort Hall.
Salim tells Pukaar News of his excitement to be performing back in Leicester after a two year break. “I am excited because we have some more songs this time, and the last performance was in 2012 and that was our first UK performance, this time around we know the Leicester audience a little bit better than last time, and I know we have a lot of fans here and a lot of people who love our music”.
