Firefighters in Leicestershire are on a 24 hour strike today along with the rest of the country in a long running dispute with the government over pensions.
The strike started at 7am this morning.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service will continue to provide a fire and rescue response cover, although on a much reduced scale to normal.
