Tuesday 26 June saw the national final of Miss England 2012 taking place at the Athena in Leicester. Over 60 girls competed for the title but it was Miss Devon, Charlotte Holmes who took the crown to become Miss England 2012.
The 23-year-old will now go on to represent the country at the Miss World finals in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, on August 23, for a top prize of $100,000.
Leicester’s very own Lena Walker was also in the contest the local beauty who won Miss Leicester back in March got through to the final 17 but unfortunately didn’t make it to the top 3.
