Day 45 of the London Olympic Torch Relay saw the torch being carried through Leicestershire and Leicester and ending up at Abbey Park with a special celebration event. Thousands lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the torch and cheer on the torch bearer.
It will continue its journey tomorrow, Tuesday 3 July from the space centre with Gary Lineker carry it for part of the journey to Peterborough.
