Leicester’s Muslim Community Condemn Recent Terrorist Attacks

The Muslim community in Leicester came together today during Friday prayer to remember the victims of the recent Tunisia terrorist attack and to condemn the actions of ISIS.

 

The head Imam at Central Mosque in Leicester, Maulana Shahid Raza condemned the recent terrorist attacks that took place in Tunisia, France and Kuwait.

 

 

23 year old Seifeddine Rezgui walked on to the beach at the El Kantaoui resort in Tunisia and opened fire, killing 38 people including 30 UK nationals.

 

Maulana Shahid Raza said: “Our community in Leicester, the whole Muslim community in Britain has been condemning all such atrocities and terrorist activities, we have never supported these crimes and we will never support such crimes”
