Muslim Community take part in Panel Discussion on Extremism

A group of sixteen Muslim people from Leicester took part in a panel discussion, to discuss the issue of extremism.

 

The discussion took place at Central Mosque on Conduit Street, and involved men and women ranging from 14 years of age to late 40s.

 

 

Many different issues surrounding extremism were discussed including the impact that 9/11 had on the Muslim community, how to prevent young people being radicalised online and what effect the recent attacks in France and Tunisia had on the Muslim community.
