The annual Leicester’s Got Talent will burst back into the city on Saturday 29th November 2014 at The Y Theatre from 11am-4pm and if you are an aspiring MC, dancer or singer, they want to hear from you!

Following on from the contests’ past successes, it can only be expected that this year the standard will be raised even higher than ever and the competition will heat up like never before. Anyone aged 16-25 can participate and entries are open from now until 10th November. Enter at www.leicestersgottalent.com

The winning prize up for grabs is an iPad and each of the three categories – MC, dance and singing – will also have its own champion who will walk away with £200 worth of vouchers.

Leicester’s Got Talent 2014 will kick off in style at 11am and there is a jam-packed day of entertainment lined up! With a star-studded panel of VIP judges and top-secret celebrity guests, the competition is all about celebrating local youngsters who think they have what it takes to be crowned Leicester’s brightest star.

With free entry and light refreshments available throughout the day, the people of Leicester are expected to flock to get a glimpse of the talented performers.

Organised by Pukaar News and Anand & Daewoo International, Leicester’s Got Talent 2014 is being put on in partnership with the independent charity Crimestoppers and Leicestershire Police.

Romail Gulzar, the Event Organiser, commented: “I am thrilled that Leicester’s Got Talent is returning, and from the interest we have seen so far I definitely think that this will be the best year yet. It’s great seeing so many gifted young people pursuing their dreams by performing on stage, and I know we will be blown away yet again by how incredible the acts are. I am already so excited and I would encourage anyone who is interested to take part, you have nothing to lose!”

Kiran Dhanda, East Midlands Regional Manager of Crimestoppers, said “This event is not to be missed; I am delighted the charity is part of it and I can’t wait to see the young people of Leicester getting the chance to show off their skills in front of their friends, family and community. I also hope that Leicester’s Got Talent will raise awareness for the anonymous service that we at Crimestoppers provide, so people know that they can report crime to us without having to reveal their identity.”
