The author of the popular 80/10/10 diet book Dr Douglas Graham gives his first UK talk in London for 4 years. The talk which took place at St Mary’s Community Halls in North West London was attended by over 80 people.
Event organiser Ronnie Smith said “we are overwhelmed with the turnout; we didn’t expect this many people to come, but hopefully this will be the first of many talks that we are going to organise”
The 80/10/10 diet consists of a low-fat diet and lifestyle program which is based exclusively around whole, fresh, uncooked fruits and vegetables and means eating more than 80% of calories from carbohydrates, less than 10% from fat and protein.
Dr Graham is a lifetime athlete and raw foodist since 1978, he has been an advisor to world-class athletes and trainers from around the globe and has worked professionally with top performers including tennis player Martina Navratilova, NBA pro basketball player Ronnie Grandison, championship bodybuilder Kenneth G. Williams and actress Demi Moore.
Dr Graham said “tonight’s talk was to show that A its is easy to do 80/10/10 in the UK even in the winter time that B 80/10/10 is not only a very easy thing to do but you can relax about your food you can relax about your nutrition once you start eating enough fruits and vegetables”
“I had a great time, I hope everybody else did too, from the feedback I got from everybody else they got enough information, but also enough of the personal real, who am I which is something that people want to touch base with”
