The Sheffield-based company’s 2021 campaign followed in the footsteps of the successful 2020 fundraiser, and was held as a way for the firm’s 13 regional locations to support local charities within their communities.

Lamp was nominated to received £1,000 by staff at the company’s Leicester depot, which will enable the charity to continue its work in mental health advocacy throughout Leicestershire.

“Mental health is a big issue in our sector,” said Jack Kidder, Henry Boot PLC’s Responsible Business Manager of the decision.

The team at our company in Leicester, Banner Plant Tool Hire, recognised Lamp as a leading mental health charity in the area and were keen to lend their support.

“We will continue to support and promote mental health and this will enable our teams to connect and collaborate with great charities in their areas.”

Richard Kotulekci, Lamp’s CEO expressed his thanks and said: “We are grateful to the Henry Boot team for their donation.

“It means a lot to us and will make a huge difference in enabling us to continue our ongoing mental health advocacy work, which is a lifeline during this difficult time.

“The donation will also contribute to our ability to develop corporate partnerships and conduct workshops and training sessions on mental health for businesses in the area.

“With mental health a priority for many, these services offer an opportunity to convene with peers to have conversations about mental health, share experiences and offer guidance on how to manage their wellbeing and that of others.”
