Annual Vaisakhi Procession makes its way through Leicester

Today saw thousands of Sikhs take part in the annual Vaisakhi parade which made its way through the streets of Leicester.  The parade which started off at the Holy Bones Gurdwara made its through the city centre and up towards Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara.

 

On April 14 Sikhs throughout the world celebrated Vaisakhi, a Sikh festival which commemorates the establishment of the Khalsa.
