Leicester’s Golden Mile came to a standstill today as the community paid its respects to Flight Lieutenant Rakesh Chauhan, one of five service personnel killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan, last month.
The cortege set off from Leicester at 11am and traveled to Belgrave Road where Flt Lt Chauhan’s father, Kishor, 61 has a shop, the cortege then moved on to Loughborough Crematorium.
