A DAZZLING Curve production has been shortlisted for two awards at a prestigious upcoming event.

The city’s flagship theatre is thrilled to announce that its 2019 production of West Side Story has been shortlisted for both ‘Best Regional Production’ and ‘Best Musical Revival’ in the WhatsOnStage Awards 2022.

Directed by Nikolai Foster, the ‘Made at Curve’ musical featured brand new choreography by Ellen Kane and set designs by Michael Taylor.

Nikolai Foster is the visionary behind musicals at the theatre, including Grease and Scrooge the Musical.

The closing date for votes is tomorrow (Friday, January 21), and Leicester theatregoers are urged to get involved.

“These awards are decided entirely by audiences like you and it’s quick and easy to vote, so please help us celebrate this Made at Curve production and make West Side Story your winner,” said a spokesman for Curve.

“Thank you all for your votes and support so far!”

The 22nd annual WhatsOnStage Awards are set to be held at the Prince of Wales Theatre on February 27.
