Four Royals enjoyed a full day in Leicester. Prince Charles and Camilla met up with Prince William and Catherine at The Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC) at Stanford Hall near Loughborough.
Prince Charles and Camilla went on to visit Leicester market, meet stallholders and also members of the Shama Women’s Centre charity.
The Duchess of Cornwall also visited Leicester General Hospital. She is president of the RVS which has nearly 20,000 volunteers supporting thousands of people each month in hospitals and in the community.
Prince Charles also visited the Soane Britain Workshop in Thurmaston, Britain’s last rattan workshop, to view a series of demonstrations from craftsmen and women and then the couple were given a tour of The Cambridge Satchel Company factory in Syston, meeting staff and viewing each stage of the production process.
