On Wednesday 7 November 2012, volunteers from the Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhist communities teamed up with the St Philip’s Centre to run a special charity project to tie in with Diwali.
Volunteers shared food and socialised with nearly 50 elderly service users at the Manor House Neighbourhood Centre on Haddenham Road.
