Hindus from Leicester and further afield gathered every night from the 4th of October till the 29th, to celebrate Navratri, the “nine nights” dedicated to the Goddess Durga.
People turned up in their beautiful Indian clothing with bright colours and delicate designs and participated in the religious Puja rituals which all come together showing peoples devotion. The nine nights combined create the message of good triumphing over evil.
