A fifth person has been arrested after an assault on Evington Road in Leicester which took place yesterday evening at around 7pm.
The victim thought to be 18 years-old, is in a stable condition at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
Officers arrested four teenagers, aged 18 and 19, shortly after the assault, followed by the arrest of a woman later in the evening.
All five remain in police custody for questioning.
