Nottingham Man Still Missing After 6 Weeks

A man from Nottingham is still missing, six weeks after he disappeared following a family party.

Twenty four year old, Baljeev Johal left the party in Warwickshire in the early hours of October 5th.

He was last seen with his family on Saturday 4th October at a wedding party at the Sports Connexion on Leamington Road in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Warwickshire.  It is thought Baljeev left the venue on foot.

Naljeev’s father Balraj Johal said, “It is so out of character we are such a tight loving family, its something that we just cant get our head round, life without him doesn’t have a focus”

He also spoke of how hard it was for him and the family, “Every moment of the day your wondering, is he safe, is he alive, is he OK, where is he, its such a harrowing time, I wouldn’t want any parent to go through this”

“Christmas is coming up, Christmas is a family time, Christmas without him, we just cant think about it, its just unbearable”

“anybody who has seen him, anybody who is helping him, if he is watching this, we beg you please please please get in touch with us or the police straight away”

Baljeev, who is from the Bromcote area of Nottingham, is described as Asian and around 6ft 3ins tall.  He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a slim white shirt with a black jacket and black trousers.

Detective Inspector Jason Downes, who is leading the investigation, said: ‘Our search to find Baljeev continues and we are very concerned for his welfare.  We urge anyone who may have been in Ryton-on-Dunsmore on the night he went missing or has seen anyone matching his description to get in contact.’
