Hundreds of people came out today to celebrate St George’s day in Leicester. Numerous different events took place throughout the day at Leicester Market and the Cultural Quarter starting with a re-enactment of the mythical tale of St George.
There was also a fun opportunity to try a hand at maypole dancing and meeting St George himself.
