On Friday 10 August over 2500 bhangra dancers took part in a mas dance to break the bhangra world record of 2100 bhangra dancers performing at the same time. The record took place at Sant Nirankari Mandal in Wednesbury in the West Midlands.
The event was organised by Sant Nirankari Mission and King G Mall, the final number was 2552 bhangra dancers, these figure are to be sent off to the Guinness Book of World Records for confirmation of the record.
