The judges of this year’s Leicester’s Got Talent were impressed by the standard of the 21 finalists, with singer song-writer, Eva Rose being chosen as this year’s winner.

The show took place on Saturday 9 December at a packed-out Leicester YMCA, with family and friends supporting those performing.

There was a wide range of acts, from hip-hop and bollywood dancing to religious songs and group performances.

Eventually, 12-year-old Eva Rose, who is planning on releasing an album after finding a love for writing her own songs, was crowned as the champion, picking up a brand new iPad in the process.

Eva, who likes to focus her style on country music, told Pukaar News:

“I am so happy, I can’t stop smiling.

“I’m so excited! I just can’t believe it, I’m so shocked!”
